Tattoo artist at your villa in Ubud

The artist comes to you in Ubud with everything the session needs, and takes all of it away afterwards.

What Ubud is like

Ubud households spread across the valleys. Penestanan and Sayan sit up on the ridges; Peliatan and Mas run through the older village grid. Guesthouses and long-stay rooms are common, and so are month-long visitors on a yoga or work stay who have the time a larger piece actually needs.

Setting up in a room here

The Ubud problem is humidity and open buildings. We need a space that closes, with a fan or air conditioning; a session in still, wet air is unpleasant for you and worse for the healing. Power is worth checking too, since some valley houses run on a light circuit that a machine plus a lamp will trip.

Price and deposit

Quoting works the same everywhere in Bali: by request. Send the reference, the size in centimetres and the placement, and the artist replies with an estimate. A 40% deposit confirms the date and is not refunded if the session is cancelled.

    Message on WhatsApp

One message is all it takes, in English or Indonesian, whichever you are quicker in. There is no form to fill in and no office hours to wait for.

  2. 02

Send the reference, the size and the placement

Send a photo or drawing of what you want, the size in centimetres, and the body part it goes on. Those three things make up the estimate, and without them nobody can give you a real number.

The artist replies with an estimate

You get an estimate for that piece and the time it needs in the chair. Ask anything you like before you commit. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

Questions from Ubud

My room in Penestanan is open on one side. Is that a problem?

For the session, yes. We need a space we can close for the hour or two the skin is open, because insects and dust are the real risk here, not the tattoo itself. Most guesthouses have a room that closes, or the host will let you use one. Ask before the date and we will plan the setup around what they say.

Does the humidity in Ubud change how it heals?

It changes how you look after it. A healing tattoo in a humid valley stays damp longer, so keep it clean and dry, use the ointment sparingly rather than generously, sleep somewhere with a fan, and stay out of the rice fields, the river and the pool. You get the full aftercare in writing and a WhatsApp thread to send healing photos to.
