What Sanur is like
Sanur has a settled, long-stay population: residents who have been here years, families in the quiet lanes, and older guesthouses with regulars who come back for months at a time. Sessions here tend to be unhurried, and clients often already know exactly what they want.
Setting up in a room here
The typical Sanur booking is a private house or a long-stay guesthouse room with a solid indoor table, ceiling fan and good afternoon light. Rooms are generally cooler and quieter than in the tourist strips, which makes Sanur one of the better places to sit for a piece that runs several hours.
Price and deposit
Quoting works the same everywhere in Bali: by request. Send the reference, the size in centimetres and the placement, and the artist replies with an estimate. A 40% deposit confirms the date and is not refunded if the session is cancelled.

Send the reference, the size and the placement
Send a photo or drawing of what you want, the size in centimetres, and the body part it goes on. Those three things make up the estimate, and without them nobody can give you a real number.

You get an estimate for that piece and the time it needs in the chair. Ask anything you like before you commit. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

Questions from Sanur
I live here and I want a larger piece over several sittings. Is that possible?
Yes, and living here makes it easier. We agree the design and the split up front, then book the sittings with enough gap for the previous one to settle. You get aftercare after each session, and we look at the healed skin before starting the next stage.
Can you come to a private house rather than a hotel?
A private house is usually the best option: no reception to ask, and a room you already control. We need an indoor table, a chair, a socket and a room that closes, and everything else comes with the artist, including a sharps container that leaves with them.
